Poppy Lease FAQ — Car Subscription Questions Answered

Starting a Poppy Lease subscription takes just a few minutes, no dealership visit, no paperwork.

To subscribe, you need to meet these requirements:

Age: Minimum 23 years old (or 26 for specific models).

Driving licence: Valid European licence, held for at least 2 years.

Driving record: Not revoked in the past 5 years.

Click 'Log in' at the top of the page and then 'Create account'.

Enter the verification code sent via e-mail.

Done, choose your car under 'New subscription' and get on the road in 5 days.

How do I sign up for a Poppy Lease car subscription?

Every Poppy Lease subscription is fully all-inclusive, one monthly fee, no surprises.

24/7 roadside assistance across the Schengen zone

Not included: fuel/charging, a second key and parking costs.

Pick your car and contract length, and choose your included mileage.

Fill in your details, pay your deposit, and sign your contract, fully online.

We'll contact you within 72 hours to schedule delivery or pick-up.

Inspect the car with our team. Once you drive away, it's yours to enjoy.

Pick-up (free): Collect your car at our office in Vilvoorde (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00).

Home delivery (€139 incl. VAT): We bring the car to your door.

What's included in a Poppy Lease all-inclusive car subscription?

Poppy Lease is built around flexibility, cancel when you want, on your terms.

Flexible (monthly) contracts: Your subscription renews automatically each month. After the first month, you can cancel at any time via the customer portal, just give 14 days' notice before your next billing date, and return the car before the period ends.

Fixed-term contracts: If you end a long-term contract early, an early cancellation fee of 30% of the remaining contract value applies. This does not apply to flexible (monthly) contracts.

Return (free): Drop off at our office in Vilvoorde (by appointment, Mon–Fri, 09:00–16:00).

Collection (€139 incl. VAT): We collect the car from your home on an agreed weekday.

Can I cancel my Poppy Lease subscription? How flexible are the contracts?

Yes, a refundable deposit is required when you book your car, as the vehicle becomes your responsibility from the moment you receive the keys.

Amount: Between €800 and €1,500, depending on the model.

Payment: Debited from your bank account at the time of booking.

Refund: Returned in full to the same bank account once the car is back, both parties have completed the inspection, the return document is signed, and everything checks out.
