To rent a Poppy Lease car you have to meet the following requirements:

Age: Minimum 23 years old (or 26 for specific models).

Driving license: Valid European driving license, held for at least 2 years.

Driving record: License must not have been revoked in the past 5 years.

Creating an account takes just a few minutes:

Enter your phone number (incl. country code).

Enter the verification code (received via WhatsApp/SMS).

Done! You can now choose your ideal car under 'New subscription'.

How to create a Poppy Lease account?

Select your desired model and check availability.

Pay the deposit before the vehicle handover.

Fill in your personal contact and billing details.

Upload your European driving license (held for at least 2 years).

Our team will contact you within 72 hours to arrange the handover.

You inspect the car together with our team. As soon as you drive away, you are responsible for the vehicle.

Fuel and parking costs are at your expense. Your subscription is also flexible: cancel whenever you want.

Pick-up (free): Collect your car at our office in Vilvoorde (by appointment, Mon-Fri between 9:00 and 17:00).

Delivery (€139 incl. VAT): We deliver the car to the address you provided.

How to rent a Poppy Lease vehicle? What is included?

A rental agreement for an indefinite period is automatically renewed every month.

To cancel the rental: After the first month, you can cancel at any time, provided you adhere to the following:

Deadline: Ensure you cancel at least 14 days before your next billing date.

Return: The vehicle must be returned before the end of the current billing period.

Early termination of a long term contract: if you opted for a fixed term contract and terminate it before the end date, you pay a fee:

Price adjustment: You lose the long term discount, the rental price will be recalculated based on the period you actually used the car.

Return (free): You drop off the car at our office in Vilvoorde (by appointment, Mon–Fri between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM).

Collection (€139 incl. VAT): We collect the car from your home on an agreed weekday.

How to renew or cancel your Poppy Lease contract and return the vehicle?

The deposit serves as a security measure, as the car is your responsibility once you receive the keys.

Amount: The deposit varies between €800 and €1500, depending on the vehicle chosen.

Payment: The amount is debited from your bank account once you book the car.

The deposit will be refunded to the same bank account after the vehicle has been returned, both parties have inspected the car, the return document has been signed, and everything has been found to be in order.
