Poppy may be passion red, but we are primarily a green company. This is why we spare no effort to minimize our impact on the environment. Actually next to its eco-friendly fleet, Poppy ensures is CO2 Neutra label, gets involved with organisms like River Cleanup and recently started a partnership with a Belgian start-up Tapio.

Poppy is a start-up constantly looking for improvements and “green” initiatives. This is why we are very excited to announce our new partnership with Tapio, a Belgian start-up allowing companies and individuals to offset their carbon footprint through monthly subscriptions. This collaboration ensures us not only a green fleet and a CO2 neutral label, but also to compensate our employees carbon emissions, offering the carbon neutrality to all Poppy collaborators. The Tapio dashboard allows us to understand better our impact and follow our live carbon status. We hope to set an example to other companies to participate in this CO2 neutral journey.

🚗POPPY’S FLEET🚗
All models of the new fleet are now in the street ! 4 new models are now available in our eco-friendly fleet :
- SKODA e-CITIGO : 100% electric, zero-emission
- OPEL Corsa : This vehicle runs on petrol but has an eco score of 75*. The higher the score, the more environmentally friendly the vehicle is, taking into account criteria such as the greenhouse effect, air quality and noise pollution.
- SEAT Mii : 100% electric, zero-emission
- SEAT Ibiza : This car is a CNG model with two tanks: a mix of petrol and CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).
- Our scooters and kickscooters are also fully electric.

🌊 POPPY x RIVER CLEANUP 🌊
As of September 2020, Poppy will organize cleanup events with one of its new partners, River Cleanup. Since its creation in 2017, River Cleanup has managed to engage more than 40,000 people to its cause, along 10 rivers in Europe and Asia. For 2020, River Cleanup will focus on encouraging local communities to participate into their mission while combining this with technology. This combination of factors will allow them to increase their impact by collecting even more waste and faster.
Every first Sunday of the month, Poppy gathers a team and together we clean up a place near a river in Antwerp or Brussels.
